A1, T-Mobile, Drei invest EUR 48 mln in Salzburg broadband

A1, T-Mobile and Hutchison's Drei have signed a letter of intent to invest EUR 48 million in broadband expansion in the Province of Salzburg over the next couple of years, Der Standard reports. The declaration was signed with the state governor Wilfried Haslauer for the 'Austrian Internet Initiative'. By the end of 2016, virtually the entire population of the province is due to be connected to fast internet, including private households and businesses.
