A1 to supply smart meters in Western Austria

Austrian operator A1 has won a contract to supply 1.2 million smart meters under the project Smart Meter West, one of the biggest smart metering projects in the country to be undertaken jointly by the power network operators Salzburg Netz, Innsbrucker Kommunalbetriebe, Tinetz-Tiroler Netze and Vorarlberger Energienetze, as well as 26 other energy suppliers in Western Austria.
