Abertis offers free Wi-Fi in Spanish motorway service areas

Spanish infrastructure company Abertis and Areas, a travel retail and food provider, have introduced free Wi-Fi access in a number of motorway service stations throughout Spain. The companies have invested a total of EUR 12.8 million in the project to modernise service areas such as Monegros and Lleida on the AP-2 toll road as well as the Emporda and Montseny service stations on the AP-7 motorway. More service areas, including La Jonquera, La Selva and Montcada, all on the AP-7, will also be modernised to offer free Wi-Fi in the coming months.
