About 35% of Sub-Saharan Africa has mobile internet access

About 35 percent of the Sub-Saharan African population has access to the internet via a mobile subscription, says research from Dataxis. The figure represents 44 percent of the 840 million active mobile SIMs in the region and includes GPRS/Edge, 3G and 4G connections.
