Dutch pension fund ABP has become the controlling shareholder in Open Tower Company (OTC), a Dutch provider of antenna sites. ABP and existing OTC shareholder Novec acquired CIF's equity interest in the company for an undisclosed sum.

The joint venture OTC was founded in 2009 by CIF and Novec and claims to be the leading independent provider of antenna sites in the Netherlands. OTC facilitates mobile network operators with more than 800 sites.

After the acquisition ABP will have a 75 percent interest in OTC, and Novec retains 25 percent.
