TV application systems provider Accedo said that it has secured USD 10 million from SEB Private Equity, enabling early investors such as Industrifonden and Acacia to exist as part of their investment strategy. Accedo also said it has appointed James Ackerman, formerly of A&E, BSkyB, OpenTV, Documentary Channel and Broadway Systems, as new chairman of its board. The company said the new funding will enable it to accelerate its growth. CEO and co-founder Michael Lantz said Accedo is looking forward to continuing its twelve-year growth trajectory.
