Acer claims new 'pocket PC' phone category with Jade Primo

Acer presented its Jade Primo smartphone at IFA, calling it a "pocket PC" for its ability to be connected to an external display, mouse and keyboard and be used as a computer. It is claimed to the first phone to support Microsoft's Continuum software, made available with Windows 10. It can run Windows 10 apps and x86-based apps converted for devices with ARM chipsets. The Jade Primo is built around a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset. It features a 5.5-in 1,080 pixel Amoled display, a 21 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. Acer revealed no other details other than to say
