ACLU concerned about Amazon face-recognition software

Amazon has come under fire after the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Northern California released a collection of public records detailing how the company has been marketing and selling facial recognition software, called Amazon Rekognition, to law enforcement agencies, reports Tech Crunch. The ACLU said the documents shed more light on a service it believes "raises profound civil liberties and civil rights concerns."
