ACM releases research on Dutch market developments

Dutch regulator ACM has published five reports in preparation of its upcoming round of market analyses. The reports were commissioned last year and completed recently, prior to the ACM deciding to delay the market analyses pending the outcome of a number of proposed takeovers. Blauw Research conducted two studies among end-users, on switching behaviour and factors influencing a change in provider. These found that fixed telephony is the least important element of a package for consumers, while internet the most determinant. Almost a quarter of consumers with fixed internet have changed
