ACM says KPN hindered customers wishing to switch

Dutch regulator ACM wants to impose a EUR 300,000 fine on KPN for not compliance. In December, ACM ordered KPN to give a group of business customers the opportunity to end their contracts without penalty. KPN had switched the group of customers from a usage-based pricing plan to an all inclusive tariff. ACM found that not all of the customers benefitted from the change and told KPN to give them the option to end their contract at no extra cost or face a fine of EUR 10,000 per day to a maximum of EUR 300,000.
