ACM sends MDF access tariff decision to EC

Dutch regulator ACM has sent its WPC-IIa tariff decision to the European Commission for clearance. The EC has one month to decide whether any changes are needed. The decision covers the costs KPN can charge wholesale customers using its MDF access services. The ACM used a rapport from NERA Economic Consulting on KPN's capital costs to calculate the rates and revise its previous decision covering 2009-2011. A ruling by the corporate appeals court in September 2013, following appeals by KPN and a number of rivals, required a number of changes to the decision, mainly centering on how the
