ACM studies impact of end to choice on KPN network

The Dutch regulator ACM has commissioned a study from researcher Blauw on switching behaviour among customers of Tele2, Vodafone, Online, CanalDigitaal and Solcon if the ISPs no longer had access to KPN's fixed network. If their current provider was no longer available, half the customers would switch to KPN or its brands Telfort and XS4ALL. A third opted for cable, and 13 percent said they would give up their fixed line. Overall, three-quarters would consider KPN and 60 percent cable. Blauw conducted three surveys for the ACM. The first in March 2014 focused on fixed-line switching behaviour
