Acorn TV launches on Roku devices in Mexico

Acorn TV, a streaming service for British and international TV content, announced that it's now available in Mexico via Roku streaming players or Roku TVs. The programmes will be in English with Spanish subtitles and the service costs MXN 89 a month, said the RJL Entertainment-owned service. At launch, Acorn TV will feature the first season of British comedy Doc Martin, Irish detective drama Jack Taylor as well as the BBC's Line of Duty and Poldark, among many other series. Acorn TV said it's targeting 1 million international subscribers by early 2019.
