Acsel seeks equality for French, foreign firms under new law

French e-commerce and internet industry association Acsel has written to digital secretary Axelle Lemaire with its recommendations concerning the Digital Republic bill announced in September. The body calls on the secretary to amend the draft bill to provide greater legal clarity in how the new law will work with other French and European legislation and in the legal definitions of the new concepts introduced such as 'data', 'common digital domain' and 'platforms'.
