Ad blockers damaging UK websites - study

New research by advertising technology company Oriel found that ad blockers are not just blocking ads online, but are also breaking website, reports The Telegraph newspaper. The tests on the UK's 100 most popular websites found that ad blockers were also accidentally corrupting useful parts of a website, such as retail order tracking pages or airline check-in screens. The Oriel researchers tested 24 common ad blockers, including uBlock Origin, Adblock and Adblock Plus, on a range of popular websites.
