Aeronet launches pilot of Terragraph FWA technology in Puerto Rico

Tuesday 18 February 2020 | 13:59 CET | News
Business-focused Puerto Rican ISP Aeronet has become the latest operator to launch a trial of Facebook's Terragraph technology on the 60GHz band. The service promises gigabit speeds using fixed wireless access (FWA) network equipment and is above all designed to bring high-quality connectivity to urban and suburban areas. The pilot will run for 6 months in the UNESCO protected old town of Puerto Rico's capital San Juan, which is already 60 percent covered by Aeronet.
