African Union of Broadcasting to manage 2022 World Cup qualifier rights in Sub-Sahara

The African Union of Broadcasting (AUB), the body of free-to-air broadcasters, has secured a deal with FIFA to manage the free-to-air rights for the qualifying matches for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, in 17 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. Under the deal, AUB becomes the exclusive partner for the commercialisation of the rights in Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Cote d'Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Guinea, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Senegal and Zambia.
