Africell promises to shake up Angolan market

Africell, the first wholly foreign-owned operator licensed to provide mobile services in Angola, has promised to shake up the country's "overly cozy" market, according to VOA. Opening the tender to international players has helped break "some of the monopolistic tendencies" that took hold "under the previous regime", said Africell's non-executive director Peter Pham.
