Agcom opens probe into TIM, Wind Tre client communication

Wednesday 16 May 2018 | 14:58 CET | News
Italy's communications regulator Agcom has announced the launch of an investigation into whether or not Telecom Italia (TIM) and Wind Tre followed the correct procedures in their communications with customers over billing conditions. In a statement, Agcom said it would look into whether the operators provided sufficiently transparent information via SMS or online regarding pricing and their right to cancel contracts. The regulator will decide on possible fines within 150 days.
