Airspan plans 'aggressive' expansion to exploit Huawei 5G ban in UK

Monday 11 January 2021 | 16:39 CET | News
Airspan is looking to expand its business in the UK to exploit the gap in the 5G market left by the ban on Huawei, reports the Financial Times. However, it was now looking to "double down on the UK", where the ban on Huawei and moves by the government to promote alternative network technology suppliers have created a new opportunity for the company.
