Airtel Africa partners with Mukuru for cross-border money transfers within Africa

Airtel Africa and remittance organisation Mukuru have announced a partnership which will enable Mukuru customers to send instant cross-border transfers directly to Airtel Money customer wallets in twelve African countries. It will be particularly beneficial for customers making intra-Africa payments from Southern Africa where Mukuru has a presence. Customers will no longer have to go physically to an agent to receive cross-border payments.
