Airtel starts talks with Dish TV on DTH merger - report

Airtel has started talks with Dish TV on a possible merger of their DTH businesses, two people familiar with the matter told the Economic Times. The companies are hoping to strengthen their position in the face of Reliance Jio's rapid expansion in the pay-TV market, with the acquisitions of Hathway Cable and Den Networks.
