Airtel Uganda, Mastercard introduce virtual debit card for online transactions

Airtel Uganda and Mastercard have introduced a virtual debit card enabling Airtel Money customers to transact online globally. The virtual card allows Airtel Money customers to make payments to local and global online merchants that accept Mastercard cards, such as Netflix, Uber, Amazon, Google Play, Aliexpress and Alibaba, even if they do not have a bank account.
