AIS, TOT strike tower dispute settlement and service agreement

Thai operator Advanced Info Service (AIS) has signed a tower dispute settlement and tower service agreement with TOT. AIS and TOT agreed to settle their dispute in the arbitral proceedings regarding their telecommunication towers. As a result, the towers under the dispute will be owned by TOT. Advanced Wireless Network (AWN), an AIS subsidiary, has agreed to use telecommunication towers from TOT, while TOT will use the space and maintenance services from AWN for 10 years starting from January 2019.
