Akamai says Qatar has world's 7th fastest internet in Q1

Akamai Technologies said that Qatar has the highest average internet connection speed in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. In its Q1 2017 State of the Internet Report, Akamai put the average Qatari speed at 13.7 Mbps, up 64 percent year on year. Qatar was ranked seventh globally.
