Alcatel-Lucent unveils new connected home products

Alcatel-Lucent has launched its first new products since last week's announcement that it will be acquired by Nokia. The two new products are designed to help communications providers bring gigabit-speed FTTH access throughout connected homes as well as more reliable Wi-Fi connectivity across all devices. The company's 7368 Intelligent Service Access Manager (ISAM) optical network terminal is a home network hub that aims to ensure consistent distribution of broadband speed throughout the home. It uses dual-band Wi-Fi and greater signal strength to provide 1 Gbps of bandwidth and better
