Alcatel Onetouch offers choice of 3 OS with new Pixi range
Alcatel Onetouch has announced a new range of affordable smartphones, running Windows, Android and Firefox operating systems. The company also introduced its first smartwatch at CES in Las Vegas. 

The new Pixi 3 range allows customers to choose from three operating systems: Microsoft's Windows, Google's Android or Mozilla's Firefox. The range includes a 3.5-inch 3G phone and handsets with 4-, 4.5- and 5-inch displays with LTE. All come with a number of popular apps installed. 

Alcatel Onetouch also presented Watch, "a premium smartwatch with elegant design at a very accessible price". The Android-based watch comes with sensors and apps that allow users to monitor daily activity and connect to Android smartphones to control music, take photos and receive notifications.

Alcatel OneTouch to release GBP 99 smartwatch in June

Alcatel OneTouch will starts selling its Watch at Currys/PC World stores in the UK in the middle of June at a price of GBP 99, Mobile News reports. First unveiled at CES in January, the watch sports a 1.22-in display, 5-day 210 mAh battery, e-compass, heart rate monitor, accelerometer, altimeter, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. It connects to Android and iOS devices. It also meets the IP67 standard for water and dust resistance.

Alcatel Onetouch unveiled at Mobile World Congress the new Idol 3 smartphone.
