Alestra first to launch Azure Stack in Mexico

Monday 3 September 2018 | 16:19 CET | News
Mexican operator Axtel announced that its Alestra business brand is the first provider to deploy the Azure Stack hybrid system in the country after reaching a cloud partnership with Microsoft. The system enables the operator to provide public and private cloud services based on Azure Stack from its Alestra Green data centre in Queretaro to business customers throughout the Mexican territory. Alestra said the system combines with its newly-launched Express Route connectivity service to the Microsoft Azure cloud in the US to create the first offering of its type in Latin America.
