Algar Telecom invests BRL 10 million in enterprise broadband in Joao Pessoa

Brazilian regional operator Algar Telecom has invested about BRL 10 million over the last five years in implementing a fibre-optic broadband service exclusively for corporate customers in the Greater Joao Pessoa area of Paraiba state, reports O Globo. According to vice president of business Marcio Estefan, the investment is aimed at enterprise clients and next year, services should be expanding to the city of Campina Grande and surrounding region.
