Algeria hosts meeting on 5G

The Algerian ICT ministry hosted an international meeting on 5G on 8-9 November at the University of Mila, to stay abreast of developments in 5G, as it had for the two previous generations of mobile technology, reports Agence Ecofin. Researchers and academics at the event included Huawei France R&D director Merouane Debbah, who focused on the challenges and opportunities of 5G for smart cities.
