Algeria plans to launch a public tender to roll out 3G in rural and tourist zones, reports Ecofin. Minister of posts, telecommunications, technology and digital Imane Houda Feraoun said the public tender, which will be launched this week, will be steered by the post and telecommunications regulator ARPCE.
