Algerian govt to set out roadmap for number portability, LLU, national roaming

Algeria's telecom minister Brahim Boumzar has set up a multidisciplinary working group that will examine the implementation of a reform programme outlined in legislation adopted by the country in mid-2018. Under the guidance of regulator ARPCE, the group will draw up a roadmap detailing the timing and operational steps to achieve the reform objectives, which include the introduction of number portability, local loop unbundling and national roaming.
