Allianz Capital Partners invests EUR 1 bln in fibre networks in Austria

Allianz Capital Partners has signed an agreement with the Oesterreichische Glasfaser-Infrastrukturgesellschaft (oeGIG), which plans, builds, finances and operates fibre-optic networks in underserved areas of Austria, to finance the roll-out of fibre-to-the-home networks. Allianz will provide around EUR 1 billion for the oeGIG plan to connect up to 1 million households to fibre by 2030.
