Almost 20% of Dutch buy groceries online

Almost 20 percent of the Dutch have ordered groceries online in the past six months, up from 10 percent a year ago, according to research by GfK. Personal hygiene and home cleaning products are the most common things to buy online. Most people who buy groceries online do so a maximum once a month, and only a small group shop more often. Among online retailers, consumers were most satisfied with transaction phase of shopping and least satisfied with the service, especially at online supermarkets.
