Alpha launches IPTV, OTT services using Harmonic systems

Belgian telecom operator Alpha Networks has launched Billi IPTV and OTT services as well as hosted service offerings for international operators, all based on Harmonic video processing, server, and storage systems. With its integrated and unified framework, Harmonic's video platforms will enable Alpha Networks to deliver high-quality HD video services cost-effectively to multiple viewing devices, including connected TVs, PCs, tablets, and smartphones. The Harmonic systems will also allow Alpha Networks to reduce energy use.
