Altice closes sale of Dominican towers unit to Phoenix

Altice Europe has announced that its Altice Dominicana subsidiary completed the sale of 100 percent of tower company Teletorres del Caribe to Phoenix Tower International, majority owned by Blackstone. The transaction comprises 1,039 sites currently operated by Altice Dominicana, which will enter into a 20-year master agreement with Teletorres del Caribe, with the latter committing to support the operator in the continued deployment of its network. Altice previously valued Teletorres del Caribe at USD 170 million.
