Altice Dominican Republic revenues up 18% to EUR 173 mln

Altice reported second-quarter revenues of EUR 173 million in the Dominican Republic, a year-on-year rise of 18 percent due above all to the weakening of the Euro against the Dominican Peso. At constant exchange rates, the total revenue increase was a far more modest 1.6 percent, again driven by the strength of the company's cable business, where customer numbers were up 12 percent and revenues grew 2.4 percent. EBITDA in the Dominican Republic came in at EUR 91 million, up 17 percent on a constant currency basis, while EBITDA margin increased from 44.6 percent to 52.7 percent, above all due
