Altice Dominicana and Claro submit 5G spectrum bids

The Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (Indotel) officially confirmed the receipt of bids for 5G spectrum from Altice Dominicana and Claro Dominicana. The respective technical offers have already been checked, with the economic offers set to be verified on 22 September and a final decision issued by 11 October, said Indotel. Rival operator Trilogy Dominicana (Viva) has yet to confirm its participation in the tender of 20-year licences.
