Altice names Microsoft executive Petit as group CMO

Altice announced that Nicolas Petit is joining the group as Chief Marketing Officer, reporting to CEO Michel Combes. He will responsible for all B2C and B2B commercial and marketing activities, including the planned commercial launch of the new Altice brand in several markets.

Petit previously worked for Microsoft, in the role of General Manager for global marketing and operations.

Altice revenues up 2.7% in Q2, EBITDA grows 6.9%

Altice reported a small increase in sales and EBITDA in the second quarter, led by growth at its US activities. Revenues increased 2.7 percent year-on-year to EUR  5.957 billion and rose 1.4 percent at constant exchange rates. Altice USA's sales were up 3.2 percent at constant currencies, while France returned to a drop in sales of 0.4 percent. Revenues in Portugal were stable, while Israel grew by 3.8 percent at constant currencies.

In deze functie zal verantwoordelijk zijn voor alle B2C en B2B marketingactiviteiten, inclusief de geplande lancering van het Altice-merk in diverse markten. Petit zal direct rapporteren aan CEO Michel Combes. Petit werkt voor zijn komst naar Altice voor Microsoft waar hij de rol van general manager voor alle wereldwijde marketinginitiatieven vervulde.

Altice USA launches IPO, to raise around USD 1.35 bln

Altice USA has launched its initial public offering of 46.5 million shares. The IPO is currently expected to run at USD 27.00-31.00 per share. The underwriters also expect to grant a greenshoe of up to almost 5.2 million more shares. Market watchers are putting the amount that could be raised up to USD 1.35 billion.

Altice credit rating outlook upgraded by Moody's

Moody's Investors Service has raised the outlook on the credit ratings of two key financing subsidiaries of Altice from negative to stable, citing improvements in the company's outlook. The ratings agency said Altice was showing an improved revenue and margin outlook in key markets such as France and Portugal, improved performance in Israel and the Dominican Republic and a better business mix on the back of investments in fibre roll-out. Altice announces single brand for operations worldwide

Altice has announced plans to rebrand its telecom operations worldwide, changing its consumer-facing identity to Altice by mid-2018 under a new logo and slogan ("Together has no limits"). The rebranding exercise will start in the Dominican Republic, where the group operates as Orange Dominicana, and will then apply to its global footprint, including SFR in France, Meo in Portugal, Hot in Israel, and Optimum and Suddenlink in the US market.

Altice Q1 revenues lift 3.2%, driven by US operations

Altice Group said the acceleration in pro forma revenue continued in the first quarter to 3.2 percent on an annual basis, boosted by stable revenues in France and in Portugal and revenue growth in the US. Total revenues reached EUR 5.932 billion.
