Altice owner Drahi acquires French magazines from Roularta

Sunday 15 February 2015 | 13:37 CET | News
French financier Patrick Drahi, the owner of Altice and telecom group Numericable-SFR, has acquired the French magazine stable of Belgian publishing house Roularta. The magazines include L'Express, L'Expansion, L'Etudiant and Point de Vue. Drahi is already the biggest shareholder in Liberation, a person close to the matter told AFP. He and his partner Marc Laufer will use the purchase of the country's fifth-biggest magazine holding to build a broader media group expected to be rebranded as Altice Media Group. Neither party would comment on the matter. .
