Altice Portugal criticises regulator for not publishing pay-TV market data

The CEO of Altice Portugal, Alexandre Fonseca, has called on the National Communications Authority (Anacom) to go back to the previous practice of publishing quarterly results on the state of the pay-TV market in Portugal. Speaking to Dinheiro Vivo, he complained about the lack of figures to compare the company's market share with that of the competition. According to Fonseca, the growth trend of Altice Portugal in the pay-TV market continued in 2019, adding that it is a "matter of time" until it takes over the leadership from Nos.
