Altice Portugal expands fibre coverage in Alentejo

Altice Portugal is planning to sign protocols with the municipalities of Portalegre, Campo Maior, Elvas and Marvao in the Alentejo region, to expand infrastructure and networks there, reports Dinheiro Vivo. As a result, more than 60,000 inhabitants of these municipalities will benefit from around 80 percent optical fibre coverage and over 90 percent 4G mobile network coverage. In addition, the operator will sign a protocol with the Business Centre of the region of Evora and a partnership will be established between the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre and Altice Labs.
