Altice Portugal intensifies efforts against fake news

Tuesday 5 March 2019 | 11:24 CET | News
Altice Portugal has intensified its efforts against fake news, both internally and with the help of partners. Executive president Alexandre Fonseca told Lusa that the company is working on this issue using its own internal mechanisms and is also aiming to boost a partnership established with the Poligrafo site to guarantee "the credibility or not of the news that is broadcast". He underlined that Altice Portugal has already been the target of fake news itself, with reports having claimed the group was interested in selling its assets in the Portuguese market.
