Altice Portugal to install 4G inside Neves-Corvo mine

Altice Portugal's B2B unit Altice Empresas and Somincor, which operates the Neves-Corvo mine in Castro Verde, will introduce LTE in more than 90 km of tunnels of the mine. This will be the first mine in the world to receive 4G, the companies said, adding that this will improve the safety of employees and enable the permanent coordination of operations by machines and teams underground.
