Altice sales up in US, plans new video platform in Q2

Altice announced continued growth at its US businesses Optimum and Suddenlink in Q4 and said it would launch a new video platform in Q2 to help sustain growth. Optimum, the former Cablevision, grew revenue 4.4 percent at constant currency rates to USD 1.645 billion, and Suddenlink's sales increased 6.7 percent on the same measure to USD 660 million. Adjusted EBITDA at the companies rose 40.6 percent to USD 626 million for Optimum and 17.4 percent to USD 313 million at Suddenlink. Altice said it benefitted from network upgrades and higher uptake of faster broadband tiers.
