Altice USA has rebranded its nationwide mobile service to Optimum Mobile, effective 25 July. The move represents the first step in the company’s plan to align its brands under one national Optimum brand, with the commitment to deliver “a consistent and reliable connectivity experience to all customers” via 100 percent fibre.
Altice USA said the Optimum Mobile brand stands for a stronger, faster mobile network, connected on the 5G network of T-Mobile US. The company added that Optimum and Suddenlink customers will receive exclusive discounts on their mobile bill and save up to 40 percent per year when signing up for the company’s connectivity services and adding Optimum Mobile. They will have the choice between a selection of 1 GB, 3 GB and Unlimited GB data plans, with unlimited talk and text starting at USD 14 per month.
Subscribers can switch between data plans at any moment, with no fee. Optimum Mobile will feature no multiline commitments or contracts, with expanded 24/7 customer support available in-store, online or over the phone. Customers can get the latest mobile devices from Apple, Samsung, and Motorola with zero down and zero interest financing. They can also bring their own phone.
Optimum Mobile is available to Altice’s Optimum customers across the New York tri-state area and its Suddenlink customers across the West and mid-Atlantic states, as well as to non-customers who live in or near the Company’s 21-state footprint.
