Altice USA settles Dolan family lawsuit following News 12 layoffs

Altice USA has settled a lawsuit brought by the Dolan family, owners of the former Cablevision Systems, against the operator's decision to lay off numerous employees at the cableco's News 12 unit. The move followed Altice's USD 17.7 billion acquisition of Cablevision back announced back in December 2015, with the operator allegedly failing to act in compliance with the provisions of the 2016 Agreement and Plan of Merger that protected News 12.
