Amaysim boards recommends shareholders vote in favor of mobile business sale to Optus

Amaysim has announced that its board unanimously recommends that shareholders vote in favour of the mobile business sale to Optus in the absence of a superior proposal. Back in November 2020, amaysim Australia agreed to sell its mobile business to Optus for AUD 250 million. This transaction is submitted to amaysim shareholders for approval at the upcoming extraordinary general meeting scheduled for 21 January.
