Amaysim posts H1 net profit as mobile customer base passes 1 mln

Amaysim Australia saw its net profit from continuing operations reach AUD 3.7 million in its fiscal first half to December, up by AUD 8.5 million or 177.5 percent from a year earlier. Mobile subscriber growth accelerated in the period through marketing and an acquisition, reaching 706,000 recurring mobile subscribers at year-end and 1.05 million total mobile subscribers. Organic growth was 41,000 mobile subscribers since June, and the acquisition of Jeenee Mobile added a further 41,000.
