Amazon acquires Liquavista from Samsung

Amazon has acquired Dutch electrowetting display technology company Liquavista from Samsung for an undisclosed amount. Amazon confirmed the news following a report in The Digital Reader, which found that as of 29 April, Liquavista is owned by an unknown Delaware-registered LLC called Haverl. Amazon's confirmation e-mail states it is always looking for new technologies that it may be able to incorporate into new products over the long term. It praises the Liquavista team for creating exciting new technologies with a lot of potential, and adds that it is looking forward to working with the
